During your semester abroad you can be placed into one or more of the following programs:

HESP: Hispanic and European Studies Program

ICT/STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

ESCI: International Business and Economics Semester

These are some of the programs that are available at UPF. Each program specializes in different courses and classes that cover a variety of subjects. HESP students will take social science courses; STEM students will take classes similar to medicine and technology; ESCI students will take business and economics. Each program has a different length of time and is different from the third party program that your home university. Barcelona SAE is the study abroad organization where HESP is the academic organization. UPF is affiliated with many other campuses where students may have other classes.
